Hi I am a fully qualified Piano and keyboard teacher (and accompanist), with over 10 years of teaching experience I offer One-to-one piano and keyboard tuition in your own home. Based in Altrincham (WA14) I cover a wide area, ranging from Altrincham, Lymm, Sale, Hale and Bowdon. Offering piano lessons in your own home which proves popular with parents who have a lot of after school activity transporting to do!

I teach piano performance and music theory to grade 8 standard and though I encourage my pupils to enter for exams, they are entirely optional. Motivation and enjoyment are far more important. I teach all ages 7 and upwards.

My preferred teaching method is based on the Alfred publishing piano method, which is both flexible and thorough. The course is based on popular tunes, which both adults and children can enjoy.

My results, so far, have been very successful with over 99% of exam entries passing and over 60% of those achieving merit or distinction grades

My primary focus is on efficient practice methods and musicality, which stimulates creativity and imagination. My style is informal and I tailor the lessons to each individuals needs.

I am very open minded regarding musical styles and encourage pupils to play the music they like the most.

I also accompany for music exams on other instruments.
